An exceptional development encompassing urban planning, nature and art
Opened in September 2022, Plateau de Frontenex embodies contemporary urban planning, combining controlled intensification, landscape integration and artistic expression. This innovative development, situated at the gateway to Geneva, combines architectural quality, en…ergy-efficiency and the preservation of biodiversity, with the goal of creating an urban setting that is both functional and respectful of the environment. This Genevan complex of 156 modern eco-friendly residential units was designed to offer a peaceful lifestyle in harmony with the environment. The brainchild of architect Benoît Frignani from the Anderegg-Rinaldi studio, the development features 2- to 7-room apartments with balconies and loggias offering breath-taking views of the park, city and lake. This THPE (very high energy-efficient performance) certified project prioritises sustainable materials and exemplary landscape integration.

The SPG Real Estate Development Department was in charge of the project from its inception, overseeing completion in alignment with economic, environmental and architectural specifications.
Located in a wooded park, this complex is noteworthy for the outdoor spaces designed by Parisian landscape architect Michel Desvigne, who was the winner of an international competition launched by the project owner with the support of SPG. Over 200 birches were planted to provide a green setting for the residents.
SPG provided strong support in the following areas:
- Coordinating all involved parties, including architects, construction companies and investors
- Verifying compliance with environmental and energy standards
- Managing and promoting the development after completion
The outcome of a collective effort spanning several years, this development illustrates the capacity of SPG to conceive, guide and manage large-scale housing complexes with a structured, decidedly contemporary vision.
Finding and managing tenants
Besides directing the Plateau de Frontenex project, SPG provided rental management services, in particular, efficiently marketing the residential units and offering optimal service to new tenants.

Art at the foot of the building
The positive aspects of Plateau de Frontenex go beyond its environmental performance; the complex also offers an open-air artistic and cultural experience. Three major works created especially for the site enrich its visual and emotional identity.
