After obtaining her bilingual (French-German) federal high-school diploma, including an elective course in Latin, Valentine spent three semesters studying architecture at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio (AAM), founded by Mario Botta. She then pursued a degree in Liberal Arts from King’s College London with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Film Studies, followed by a master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the ESADE Business and Law School.
In 2015, Valentine joined the team at Solar Impulse. Based at the Monaco project control centre, she was part of the team in charge of digital communications. Her marked interest in innovation then led her to Taiwan. She worked for the internet start-up Codementor, which has attracted such notable investors as Techstars and Alibaba. At the same time, she took advantage of the opportunity to study Mandarin.
An active member of the Family Business Network (FBN) since 2012, Valentine became part of the organisation’s NxG (Next Generation) Leadership Team in 2016 and was appointed Vice President in 2018. She has also sat on the FBN Board of Directors since 2019.
Valentine joined the SPG-Rytz Group in 2019.
