The SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE contributes to life in the city and Canton of Geneva by supporting several cultural, sporting and charity associations or by establishing partnerships. Music, cinema, literature, sport, health, training, architecture, landscape, etc. the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE contributes to all of these areas through material, financial moral, or relationship support, to boost actions which are innovative, productive and create social cohesion.

In line with its corporate charter, the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE encourages social links to city life. It supports a wide range of activities covering every kind of passion and interest that animate Geneva society: from art to ethnomusicology, community events such as carnivals or street parties, famous and less-famous festivals, sports clubs, helping the least well off, foundations for medical research etc.



SPG/HEPIA IDEAS CONTEST - Book 2009/2012





IDEAS CONTEST in partnership with the Haute Ecole du Paysage, d'Ingénierie et d'Architecture (HEPIA or Higher School of Landscape, Engineering and Architecture) - 2012For the third year, the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE continued the ideas competition in partnership with HEPIA, the Higher School of Landscape, Engineering and Architecture.
In 2012, fourteen projects have been presented to the jury. The first prize awarded the project named «Synergie». The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday  22 May 2012, attended by Yves Leuzinger, Director (HEPIA), Thierry Barbier-Mueller, Managing Director (SPG) and Francesco Della Casa, cantonal Architect.

IDEAS CONTEST in partnership with the Haute Ecole du Paysage, d'Ingénierie et d'Architecture (HEPIA or Higher School of Landscape, Engineering and Architecture) - 2011
In 2011 the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE continued the ideas competition in partnership with HEPIA, the Haute École du Paysage, d’Ingénierie et d’Architecture (www.hepia.ch). The «Voir et Revoir, scénographies urbaines» (View and Review, Urban Stages) ideas contest aims to reshape existing, underdeveloped, urban landscapes in Geneva. For the 2011 session, nine teams comprising 2 to 3 students, one in architecture and the other in landscaping, presented their project in front of the SPG/HEPIA contest jury in February. Three projects were short-listed. The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, 31 May 2011, attended by Yves Leuzinger, Director (HEPIA), Thierry Barbier-Mueller, Managing Director (SPG) and a representative of the City of Geneva.

IDEAS CONTEST in partnership with the Haute Ecole du Paysage, d'Ingénierie et d'Architecture (HEPIA or Higher School of Landscape, Engineering and Architecture) - 2010In 2010 the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE launched the ideas contest in partnership with HEPIA, the Haute École du Paysage, d’Ingénierie et d’Architecture (www.hepia.ch). The objective of this contest is to identify the underdeveloped areas in Geneva and to reshape them. For the 2010 session, no fewer than nine teams comprising 2 to 3 students, one in architecture and the other in landscaping, presented their project before the SPG/HEPIA contest jury. Three projects were declared equal winners.

RESIDENTIAL SALES AGENCY - BCGE property fair
The residential sales agency attended the Geneva Cantonal Bank (BCGE) property fair on Saturday, 3 September 2011 from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm.
This was an opportunity for Agency staff to present property for sale and answer questions about buying, finance or reselling.
Address: BCGE training center - Chemin de la Colombe 30C - 1231 Conches.

PRIVATE VIEWINGS AT BARBIER-MUELLER MUSEUM

A private viewing of the exhibition "Masques à démasquer" ("Masks to be unmasked") at Barbier-Mueller Museum has taken place on 28 of March 2012 in the presence of numerous guests invited by SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE.

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GENEVA SOCIÉTÉ DE LECTURE (Reading Society)

During the 2006 season, the SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE DE GÉRANCE supported the activities of the Geneva SOCIÉTÉ DE LECTURE. A key player in Geneva literary circles, the Société de Lecture promotes meetings between writers and their readers through conferences, encourages the exchange of ideas and the discovery of Swiss and international writers. Participants include well-known names in the world of literature and ideas as well as mainly French-speaking players from artistic, scientific or political circles.
